Hello members of Nebraska Phi Beta Lambda and welcome to our fantastic fiftieth year of greatness! I am Tiffany Mewes-Dunn, your 2011-2012 Nebraska PBL Vice-President of Membership. I am currently a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I am obtaining a major in psychology and minors in business and Spanish.
My FBLA-PBL career began my junior year at Southern High School. I have since served several leadership roles and received numerous awards. Without a doubt, the organization has helped shape the individual I am today. Now I take this opportunity to shape the organization by increasing not only membership numbers but membership involvement.
In addition to PBL, I also write as an opinion columnist for the Daily Nebraskan and work at the University of Nebraska Foundation. I also spend time working in the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory on campus. Volunteering as an ambassador for EducationQuest is another occupant of my schedule. When I do have free time, I love to read, kayak, and bike.
This year is the Gateway to Greatness! Built on 50 Years of Success, Phi Beta Lambda has reached its time to shine like gold!
