Hello Nebraska Phi Beta Lambda! I'm Peter Raun, and I am honored to be serving as your 2011-2012 Nebraska State President! I'm currently a junior at the Peter Kiewit Institute at UNO, where I am majoring in Management Information Systems.
My FBLA-PBL career began as a freshman at Minden High School, and this is my sixth year of involvement with this premier career student organization. When I'm not busy with PBL, I enjoy listening to a variety of music, traveling anywhere and everywhere, working as a Specialist at the Apple Retail Store in Omaha, helping my dad manage our family farm, and following politics and Husker football.
As your State President, I am excited to lead Nebraska PBL into the future. My main goals include strengthening our ties with the Nebraska business community to provide more opportunities for employment and internships for you, Nebraska PBL members, and increasing our state chapter and local chapter membership.
Nebraska PBL, I thank you for the opportunity to serve as your State President. This year is Nebraska PBL's 50th year as a state chapter. Looking back, it's clear that we have achieved much in those 50 years, and the best is yet to come! I look forward to leading Nebraska PBL through the Gateway to Greatness that we have built on 50 years of success!
